Docursan4

Docursan4 is the perfect machine for archives, libraries and museums that intend to deal – autonomously and in total safety for operators and for the material – with emergencies caused both by fungal infections and the proliferation of molds on damp and wet substrates and by infestations of bugs.

Based on the same technologies and the same loading system as the Docursan3, Docursan4 performs two functions. Freeze damp or wet archival and library material at the required operating temperatures to prevent fungal germination or stop mold growth in the event of an existing infection. Cryo-disinfestant eliminating the insects present on binders, loose papers, sanding, books, parchments, etc. at every stage of their life cycle.

Docursan4 is available in agile and performance versions. The agile version – with minimum bulk and maximum mobility, even on wheels – has a load capacity of 7 linear meters and is powered at 230v. The performance version – more suitable for managing large emergencies and securing large quantities of materials – allows, on the other hand, to process up to 25 linear meters of archival and book material per cycle.

Both versions are equipped with a system of probes and sensors and a display for the control panel and can be equipped, on request, with the Smart Kit 4.0 for the management and monitoring of the process from mobile devices and for remote assistance and diagnostics.

The Docursan4 are marketed in Italy and in Europe by Tergeosan and distributed in the rest of the world by Preservation Technologies.
